Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 1561 (LINC01561) is a long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) gene located on chromosome 10. It does not encode a protein but is involved in the regulation of cellular processes, including cell proliferation, migration, and apoptosis. LINC01561 is thought to act as a competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA), modulating gene expression by sponging microRNAs (miRNAs) at the post-transcriptional level.
