Overview
Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 2015 (LINC02015) is a human long non-coding RNA transcript found mainly in the nucleus and cytoplasm and classified as a long intergenic non-coding RNA (lincRNA). It is implicated in transcriptional and post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression, influences cell proliferation and apoptosis, and is differentially expressed in diseases including clear cell renal cell carcinoma, cardiovascular conditions, and possibly venous thromboembolism. LINC02015 is also known as KCCAT211, reflecting its identification in renal clear cell carcinoma tissue, and is under investigation as a biomarker and regulatory RNA with disease relevance, although direct therapies targeting it have not yet been established.
