Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 2370 (LINC02370)

Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 2370 (LINC02370) is a member of the long intergenic non-coding RNA (lincRNA) family, which are autonomously transcribed RNA molecules longer than 200 nucleotides that do not overlap protein-coding genes. LincRNAs are a subclass of long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs), responsible for a variety of regulatory functions in gene expression, particularly in epigenetic modulation and chromatin remodeling. While thousands of lincRNAs have been annotated, most—including LINC02370—have not been functionally characterized, and the majority are not established therapeutic targets.
