Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 2458 (LINC02458)

LINC02458 is a human long intergenic non-protein coding RNA gene, annotated under accession identifiers NCBI Gene 728084 and Ensembl ENSG00000246363. As a lincRNA, it does not code for any protein but is involved in regulation of gene expression, chromatin architecture, and transcript stabilization. The biological roles of most lincRNAs, including LINC02458, are still being elucidated.
