Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 2609 (LINC02609) is a long non-coding RNA that does not encode a protein but is involved in the regulation of gene expression and cellular processes. LINC02609's mechanism of action involves its potential as a biomarker for immunotherapy response in renal cell carcinoma. It modulates tumor progression by regulating the MAPK pathway and affects lipid storage and ER homeostasis via APOL1 regulation.
