Target intelligence / Profile preview
Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 2782 (LINC02782) is a human gene encoding a long intergenic non-coding RNA (lincRNA), part of the broad lncRNA family. LincRNAs are defined as non-coding RNA transcripts longer than 200 nucleotides that do not overlap with protein-coding regions. General lincRNA functions include chromatin remodeling, regulation of neighboring gene expression in a tissue-specific manner, and participation in transcriptional and post-transcriptional regulatory complexes. There is currently no published functional or disease association specific to LINC02782, and it is not recognized as a therapeutic target
