Target intelligence / Profile preview
Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 2822 (LINC02822) is a long intergenic non-coding RNA gene transcribed into a non-protein coding RNA longer than 200 nucleotides that does not overlap annotated protein-coding genes. As with other lincRNAs, its putative roles may include chromatin and genome remodeling, transcriptional and post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression, RNA stabilization, and tissue-specific gene regulation, but specific molecular functions, disease roles, and clinical applications for LINC02822 have not been published.
