Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 2824 (LINC02824)

Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 2824 (LINC02824) is a human gene encoding a long non-coding RNA. Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are functional RNA molecules longer than 200 nucleotides that do not code for proteins[5]. LINC02824 falls within the subclass of intergenic lncRNAs, located in genomic regions between protein-coding genes[3][5].
