Target intelligence / Profile preview
LINC02863 (long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 2863) is a human long intergenic non-coding RNA gene encoding RNA transcripts longer than 200 nucleotides that do not overlap annotated protein-coding genes[1][5][7]. Long intergenic non-coding RNAs (lincRNAs) like LINC02863 are a subset of long non-coding RNAs distinguished by their position in the genome and lack of protein-coding potential. Although many lincRNAs have regulatory roles such as modulating chromatin structure, regulating transcription, or acting as enhancers, only a small fraction have been functionally characterized to date. There is currently no published information describing the specific biological function, disease association, or therapeutic relevance of LINC02863.
None known. No mechanisms of action for drug targeting of LINC02863 have been described.
