Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 2901 (LINC02901) is a non-coding RNA gene, meaning it is transcribed into RNA but does not encode a protein[7]. Its aliases include C6orf99 and it corresponds to several gene database identifiers (e.g., HGNC:21179, NCBI Gene:100130967, Ensembl:ENSG00000203711)[7]. There is no evidence that LINC02901 is a therapeutic target nor that it interacts with known drugs or functions as a biomarker or in disease roles based on currently available information.
