Target intelligence / Profile preview
Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 2902 (LINC02902) is a member of the long intergenic non-coding RNAs (lincRNAs), a subclass of long non-coding RNAs that are transcribed from genomic regions lying between protein-coding genes and do not encode functional proteins[3][5]. LINC02902 is annotated in genomic databases and also referred to by the aliases C7orf65 and FLJ44108, among others[5]. However, public data sources provide no specific information about the biological function, disease relevance, roles in signaling pathways, or interacting molecules for LINC02902, and it is not classified as a receptor, enzyme, transporter, or a common therapeutic target[5][3]. As of now, no evidence suggests that LINC02902 is clinically utilized as a drug target, biomarker, or that it plays a described role in cancer, inflammation, or other diseases. It remains a poorly characterized transcript, and its physiological and pathological significance have yet to be elucidated.
