Target intelligence / Profile preview
Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 3013 (LINC03013) is a human long intergenic non-coding RNA (lincRNA) located on chromosome 7p14.2[3]. As a lincRNA, it does not code for a protein and its functional roles remain uncharacterized in current databases[1][3]. LincRNAs are a subclass of long non-coding RNAs that are transcribed independently from regions of the genome located between annotated protein-coding genes, typically longer than 200 nucleotides. LincRNAs in general may regulate gene expression, often in a tissue-specific manner, by mechanisms including chromatin modification, transcriptional regulation, and RNA stabilization, though the direct biological functions of LINC03013 have not been described to date[7]. There is no current evidence that LINC03013 serves as a therapeutic target, biomarker, or is involved in drug interactions or described pathological roles.
