Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 3076 (LINC03076)

Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 3076 (LINC03076, also known as LOC101928012) is a gene in the human genome encoding a long intergenic noncoding RNA. LincRNAs are autonomously transcribed non-coding RNA molecules longer than 200 nucleotides that do not overlap protein-coding genes[1][5]. LincRNAs often play roles in chromatin remodeling, genome architecture, and transcriptional regulation, sometimes exhibiting tissue-specific expression and regulatory functions, but only a small fraction of annotated lincRNAs have as-yet been functionally characterized[1][3]. As of the current date, there are no published studies describing the specific molecular function, disease role, or therapeutic relevance of LINC03076.
