Overview

Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 3102 (LINC03102) is a human long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) encoded at the locus ENSG00000226088 and also known as HHLA3-AS1 or HHLA3 antisense RNA 1[1][4][7][8]. LINC03102 is classified as a long intergenic non-coding RNA, meaning it does not encode a protein and is transcribed from a region of the genome distinct from protein-coding genes[1][3][4][8]. Like other lincRNAs, it may participate in chromatin modification and gene expression regulation, processes that are increasingly recognized in normal biology and disease, including cancer[5]. However, there is no direct experimental evidence that LINC03102 itself is a therapeutic target, nor are there known drugs or clinical biomarkers specific to this RNA. Its biological roles and disease associations remain largely uncharacterized.
