Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 3137 (LINC03137)

Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 3137 (LINC03137; also known as OLBC15 and AC100826.1) is a human long non-coding RNA gene located on chromosome 15[3]. It has been described as an oncogenic lncRNA in breast cancer, notably triple-negative breast cancer, with elevated expression levels associated with disease progression[3]. As with many lncRNAs, LINC03137 likely exerts effects through regulation of gene expression and pathways implicated in cancer cell proliferation and progression, but specific mechanisms, interacting partners, or direct clinical applications are not yet described in detail in the current literature[3][1][5]. There are no approved drugs targeting this RNA, nor is it recognized as a clinically established biomarker or therapeutic target at this time.
