Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 3154 (LINC03154)

Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 3154 (LINC03154) is a human long intergenic non-coding RNA (lincRNA), defined as a transcribed RNA molecule longer than 200 nucleotides that does not overlap with annotated protein-coding genes[1][5]. LincRNAs frequently regulate chromatin states, transcription of nearby or distant genes, and nuclear architecture[1][5]. Although thousands of lincRNAs have been annotated and a subset shown to modulate gene expression or disease, LINC03154 itself has not been specifically characterized in terms of function, disease relevance, or druggability in current scientific literature. It remains one of many human lincRNAs whose biological roles are largely unstudied.
