Target intelligence / Profile preview
Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 364 (LINC00364) is a member of the long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) family. It is a non-protein coding RNA molecule transcribed from the human genome, with primary literature and database entries indicating its involvement in modulating cell proliferation, notably through the p-STAT3–IFIT2 signaling axis, thereby acting to repress proliferation in hepatocellular carcinoma. LINC00364 has also been denoted as LncRNA00364 in some sources but is distinct from protein-coding therapeutic targets such as receptors or enzymes. Current data do not indicate LINC00364 is directly druggable or targeted by therapeutics, nor is it widely established as a disease biomarker, although research into its role in cancer biology is ongoing.
