Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 370 (LINC00370) is a human long intergenic non-coding RNA gene, located on chromosome 13, that is transcribed but not translated into protein. As a member of the lincRNA family, LINC00370 is thought to act as a regulator of gene expression at the post-transcriptional level, possibly by acting as a competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) for specific microRNAs such as miR-222-3p, thereby influencing downstream pathways like RGS4 and protecting against certain disease processes including osteoporosis. Its wider role in cancer and other diseases is under investigation, but LINC00370 has not been established as a direct therapeutic target
