Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 518 (LINC00518)

Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 518 (LINC00518) is a long non-coding RNA located on chromosome 6p24.3 that is transcribed but not translated to protein[2][3]. LINC00518 is overexpressed in multiple cancers including lung adenocarcinoma, cervical cancer, breast cancer, melanoma, colorectal cancer, prostate cancer, and multiple myeloma[2][5].
