Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 671 (LINC00671)

Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 671 (LINC00671) is a long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) encoded on chromosome 17, spanning approximately 40 kb[3][5]. It does not code for protein but exerts its regulatory functions through a range of mechanisms, including acting as a molecular sponge for microRNAs and regulating downstream genes.
