Overview

LRRN2 antisense RNA 1 (LRRN2-AS1) is a long non-coding RNA gene, transcribed from the antisense strand near the locus of the LRRN2 gene[1]. Like other antisense lncRNAs, it may play a role in regulating the expression or function of its sense gene LRRN2 by mechanisms that can affect mRNA stability, translation, and epigenetic modification. However, there is very little specific functional or biomedical literature about LRRN2-AS1 itself. Its biological significance, disease associations, and potential as a therapeutic target remain unclear and largely unexplored[1][3][6].
