Overview
LY6G6D is a member of the lymphocyte antigen 6 superfamily, expressed in leukocytes and selectively upregulated in colorectal cancer. It plays a key role in neutrophil migration and infiltration and is implicated in immune senescence. It is a therapeutic target for colorectal cancer, particularly via T-cell engagers, but potential safety concerns include bystander killing of non-target cells.
