Target intelligence / Profile preview
The lymphocyte-specific protein 1 pseudogene (LSP1P1) is a human pseudogene that resembles the sequence of the LSP1 gene, which encodes an intracellular F-actin binding protein expressed in immune cells. However, as a pseudogene, it does not produce a functional protein and is not known to have any direct biological function or relevance to disease. Only the canonical LSP1 gene/protein—not its pseudogenes—has known roles in cell migration, immunity, and disease[2][5][8].
