KAT7 is implicated in various diseases, including cancers like leukemia, osteosarcoma, lung cancer, and prostate cancer, as well as Ohdo Syndrome and pulmonary hypertension. It interacts with proteins like CDT1, Geminin, NLRP11 and Tip60 to carry out its functions. KAT7 is a potential therapeutic target, with inhibitors or modulators potentially offering novel approaches for treating these conditions.
