Target intelligence / Profile preview
MAGEA8 is a member of the MAGEA gene family, typically expressed in various tumors but with limited expression in most normal adult tissues except for testis and placenta. Its precise biological function remains incompletely understood but is implicated in cell cycle regulation and apoptosis resistance. Due to its tumor-restricted expression, it is being explored as a target for cancer immunotherapy.
