Overview

The Major histocompatibility complex (MHC)–T-cell receptor (TCR) complex recognizing M72 epitopes is a critical immunological assembly involved in the adaptive immune response against Mycobacterium tuberculosis [1]. M72 is a recombinant fusion protein consisting of two immunogenic antigens, Mtb32A (Rv0125) and Mtb39A (Rv1196), which are processed by antigen-presenting cells and displayed on MHC molecules [3].
