MANEA antisense RNA 1 (MANEA-AS1), also called MANEA divergent transcript (MANEA-DT), is a non-protein-coding RNA gene found on the opposite strand to the MANEA gene. As an antisense transcript, MANEA-DT may play a regulatory role by modulating the expression of the sense MANEA gene or influencing local chromatin structure.
