Overview

MAPK-interacting and spindle-stabilizing protein-like (MAPK1IP1L) is a protein encoded by the MAPK1IP1L gene in humans. The gene resides on chromosome 14. Based on gene annotation and naming, this protein may be associated with spindle stability during mitosis and interact with mitogen-activated protein kinase 1 pathways, potentially influencing cell proliferation. However, there is currently no direct experimental evidence for its molecular function, biological process, or cellular localization in humans. Limited database associations suggest a possible link to TFE3-rearranged renal cell carcinoma and progressive familial heart block, but the specific pathological role remains unclear. MAPK1IP1L is not recognized or classified as a receptor, enzyme, transporter, ion channel, transcription factor, or biomarker, and it is not targeted by approved therapeutic agents
