Overview

MAPRE1P3, also known as MAPRE1 pseudogene 3, is a human pseudogene located on chromosome 2[6]. It does not produce a functional protein product and is classified as a non-coding, processed pseudogene related to the protein-coding MAPRE1 gene. There is no evidence that MAPRE1P3 functions as a drug target, nor is it implicated in disease, drug interactions, or relevant therapeutic contexts[3][6]. MAPRE1P3 should be distinguished from MAPRE1, which encodes the microtubule-associated protein RP/EB family member 1—a functional plus-end tracking protein involved in microtubule dynamics, cell division, and some disease processes[1][4].
