MARCHF4 antisense RNA 1 (MARCHF4-AS1)

MARCHF4 antisense RNA 1 (MARCHF4-AS1) is a long non-coding RNA gene mapped to chromosome 2, transcribed in the antisense orientation relative to the MARCHF4 gene. As an antisense lncRNA, it does not code for protein; rather, similar transcripts frequently regulate their neighboring protein-coding genes (such as MARCHF4) through various mechanisms at the transcriptional or post-transcriptional level.
