MARK2 pseudogene 13 (MARK2P13) is a non-protein-coding pseudogene associated with the functional gene microtubule affinity-regulating kinase 2 (MARK2). It is located on human chromosome 7 (hg38: chr7:36109024-36110872). As a pseudogene, MARK2P13 is generally considered non-functional and does not encode an active protein product. There are no current reports linking MARK2P13 to any human diseases, therapeutic drug interactions, or biological processes essential for health or disease. Like other pseudogenes, its potential for regulatory RNA functions, such as microRNA decoy activity, has not been demonstrated, nor has it been implicated as a therapeutic target or biomarker in current research.
