Mediator complex subunit 28 pseudogene 7 (MED28P7) is a human processed pseudogene related to the MED28 gene, which itself encodes a component of the Mediator complex, a multi-protein complex involved in transcriptional regulation by RNA polymerase II[1][5][7].
