Overview
MAGE-A4 is a cancer/testis antigen normally expressed in germline cells but aberrantly expressed in various tumors. It regulates cell proliferation, inhibits apoptosis, and activates DNA damage tolerance. Its restricted expression profile makes it a promising target for cancer immunotherapy.
