Target intelligence / Profile preview
Melanoma-associated antigen A1 (MAGEA1) is a cancer-testis antigen expressed in various tumor types but largely absent from normal adult tissues except for the testis. Its immunogenicity makes it a target for cancer immunotherapies, particularly T-cell based therapies. MAGEA1 expression can also serve as a biomarker for prognosis and prediction of chemoresistance.
TCR-modified T-cell transfer, Peptide vaccines, Fab-based chimeric receptor targeting HLA/MHC-peptide complex
