Overview

Melanoma-associated antigen family member A10 (MAGEA10) is a cancer-testis antigen that is normally expressed in the testis and placenta but is aberrantly upregulated in a variety of tumors, including melanoma, lung cancer, and bladder cancer. MAGEA10 is considered a potential therapeutic target for cancer immunotherapy and a biomarker for certain malignancies. Its precise function remains unclear, but it may play a role in cell cycle regulation or apoptosis.
