Target intelligence / Profile preview
Mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) are multipotent stromal cells capable of differentiating into a variety of cell types, including osteoblasts, chondrocytes, myocytes, and adipocytes. They are characterized by their ability to modulate inflammation, facilitate tissue repair and regeneration through secretion of bioactive molecules and extracellular vesicles, and exert immunomodulatory effects. MSCs are being investigated extensively for regenerative medicine applications.
