MTA3P1 (metastasis associated 1 family member 3 pseudogene 1) is a non-coding pseudogene and not a canonical protein drug target. Pseudogenes like MTA3P1 do not encode functional proteins but may play regulatory roles at the RNA level, such as modulating gene expression by acting as miRNA sponges or producing non-coding RNAs[2]. There is currently no evidence that MTA3P1 acts as a therapeutic target, nor is it associated with known biomarkers, drug interactions, or safety concerns. The functional gene in this family, MTA3, encodes a protein involved in chromatin remodeling and the NURD complex but is distinct from the pseudogene[1][3][5]. No clinically relevant information is currently attributed to MTA3P1[2][4].
