MicroRNA 1182 is a small, non-coding RNA (20-24 nucleotides) classified as a microRNA (miRNA) involved in post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression[1]. MicroRNA 1182 has been identified as a tumor suppressor in cholangiocarcinoma, where it synergizes with let-7a to inhibit cancer cell invasion, migration, autophagy, and tumor progression by targeting and suppressing NUAK1[3].
