Overview

MicroRNA 3612 is a human microRNA (non-coding, small RNA molecule) that functions in post-transcriptional gene regulation. Like other microRNAs, it generally acts by binding to complementary sequences in target messenger RNAs (mRNAs), leading to mRNA silencing via degradation or inhibition of translation.
