MicroRNA 3670-4 (MIR3670-4) is a short (20-24 nucleotides) non-coding RNA molecule found in humans. Like other microRNAs, it is transcribed by RNA polymerase II as part of a primary transcript, processed by Drosha and Dicer nucleases into its mature form, and functions by guiding the RNA-induced silencing complex (RISC) to target complementary messenger RNAs. This typically results in inhibition of protein synthesis either by destabilizing the target mRNA or by repressing its translation.
