MicroRNA 3671 (miR-3671, hsa-miR-3671) is a small, non-coding RNA molecule classified as a microRNA, which functions primarily in the post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression by binding to target mRNAs and promoting their degradation or inhibiting their translation[3]. Like other microRNAs, miR-3671 is involved in complex regulatory networks and has been identified as a highly central node within microRNA interaction networks in trastuzumab-treated BT474 breast cancer cells, indicating a potential functional role in drug response or cancer-related pathways[1]. However, there is currently little published information on its mechanistic role, specific target mRNAs, involvement in human diseases, or potential as a therapeutic target. No drugs are known to specifically target miR-3671, nor is it widely used as a biomarker. The molecular mechanisms and disease relevance of miR-3671 remain to be fully elucidated within the broader context of microRNA research[1][3].
