microRNA 378i (MIR378I) is a member of the microRNA-378 family, part of a class of small non-coding RNAs that regulate gene expression primarily by binding to target mRNA and inhibiting their translation or inducing degradation. The miR-378 family is implicated in the regulation of cell survival, proliferation, apoptosis, metabolic processes, and angiogenesis, with established roles in cancer and cardiovascular pathophysiology.
