Overview

MicroRNA 3977 (MIR3977, also known as hsa-mir-3977) is a short non-coding RNA molecule, classified as a microRNA, involved in the post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression in multicellular organisms. Like other microRNAs, it is generated from a primary transcript by enzymatic processing, and the mature miRNA is incorporated into the RNA-induced silencing complex (RISC), which pairs with target mRNAs to inhibit their translation or promote degradation. There is no specific evidence in widely referenced databases to support MIR3977 as a direct therapeutic target, nor are there established disease associations, interacting drugs, or biomarker roles documented in the current literature[1][3][4][5].
