Overview

MicroRNA 4275 is a predicted human microRNA belonging to the non-coding RNA family of microRNAs (miRNAs). MicroRNAs are short, non-coding RNA molecules (about 21–23 nucleotides long) that regulate gene expression primarily at the post-transcriptional level by base-pairing with complementary sequences within messenger RNA molecules, resulting in translational repression or target degradation[1][6][7]. For MIR4275, there is no experimental evidence or peer-reviewed literature documenting its biological function, validated mRNA targets, tissue expression, involvement in disease, or potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target, which is unusual compared to well-characterized miRNAs such as miR-155, miR-150 or miR-146a[2][5].
