MicroRNA 4320 (MIR4320) is a small non-coding RNA (typically 20–24 nucleotides) involved in regulating gene expression after transcription, primarily by interfering with the stability and translation of messenger RNAs through interaction with the RNA-induced silencing complex (RISC)[1][2][3][6]. It is encoded by the MIR4320 gene (HGNC: 38369), and its mature form is processed by Drosha and Dicer enzymes. Like other miRNAs, MIR4320 can modulate cellular processes by silencing or activating gene expression and may circulate extracellularly as a chemical messenger[6]. MIR4320 has been linked to intracranial berry aneurysm according to gene association databases, although its broader physiological and pathological roles remain to be determined[1].
