microRNA 4322 (MIR4322) is a small, non-coding regulatory RNA molecule found in humans. Like other microRNAs, it acts as a post-transcriptional regulator of gene expression by binding to complementary sequences on target messenger RNAs, leading to their destabilization or inhibition of translation. MicroRNAs as a class are implicated in diverse biological processes, including development, differentiation, proliferation, and apoptosis. However, specific biological or disease roles for microRNA 4322 have not been well characterized in the current scientific literature. If more specific information is needed about hsa-mir-4322 in particular diseases, mechanisms, or clinical studies, targeted database searches or future studies may be required, as it is a relatively obscure or less-studied microRNA compared to major regulatory miRNAs.
