Overview

In hepatocellular carcinoma, miR-4325 has been shown to suppress tumor cell growth, migration, and invasion by targeting GATA-binding protein 6 (GATA6), with decreased levels of miR-4325 correlated with poorer prognosis. As with other microRNAs, miR-4325 does not code for a protein and can influence a wide array of cellular processes and disease states through its role in gene regulatory networks.
