Overview

microRNA 4329 (MIR4329) is a small, non-coding RNA molecule approximately 21–23 nucleotides in length, encoded by the MIR4329 gene on the human genome. Like other microRNAs, MIR4329 is believed to function in the regulation of gene expression by binding to complementary sequences in messenger RNA (mRNA) molecules, leading to translational repression or mRNA degradation. MicroRNAs play roles in a wide variety of cellular processes including development, differentiation, and disease pathogenesis, but the specific biological targets and functional relevance of MIR4329 remain uncharacterized in public scientific literature. More generally, microRNAs can serve as biomarkers and may become targets or tools in the field of RNA therapeutics[1][5].
