microRNA 4444-2 (MIR4444-2)

Target
MIR4444-2
Molecular classification
MicroRNA, Non-coding RNA
01

Overview

microRNA 4444-2 is a human non-coding RNA molecule from the microRNA family, implicated in post-transcriptional gene regulation. Elevated expression of miR-4444-2 is associated with poor prognosis in pancreatic adenocarcinoma, showing a correlation with increased proliferation and migration of pancreatic cancer cells. While miR-4444-2 has been used as part of a four-miRNA biomarker panel for risk stratification in pancreatic cancer, its precise molecular targets and broader functional roles remain to be experimentally validated. There is currently no evidence for direct therapeutic targeting or specific drug interactions with miR-4444-2[1][3][4].
