microRNA 4519 (MIR4519) is a predicted human microRNA gene encoding a small non-coding RNA (about 20–24 nucleotides in length) that regulates gene expression by binding to target mRNA molecules, affecting their stability and translation. Mature miRNAs are produced through sequential processing by Drosha and Dicer enzymes, then incorporated into messenger ribonucleoprotein complexes (RISC) that mediate gene silencing. MicroRNAs, as a class, serve as key regulators across multiple biological and disease processes, often with cell- and tissue-specific expression patterns and regulatory roles. However, for MIR4519 specifically, detailed biological functions, regulatory networks, or disease associations have not been well characterized in the current literature.
